As I neared graduation from Keshav Memorial Institute of Technology with a B.tech degree, I was unsure how to get a job and advance in my profession. Around that time, I learned about Revature through a telegram chat and quickly began my research. I realised that it is a company that offers world-class specialised training that can help you establish a career. Revature’s up-to-date curriculum, outstanding training, and placement opportunities attracted me to apply right away.
I was recruited by a few companies and offered a testing position, but I had always desired to be a part of the development team, so I declined the offers and waited for the perfect opportunity to come knocking. Many rejections had occurred, and many concepts in my mind were hazy, but Revature training enabled me to grasp minute elements of a topic.
All I have to say about the Revature training program is that it is outstanding, that the training’s value is widely recognised in the job market, and that they are going beyond the usual to compensate its associates, which is incredible. When we were on our third project during my training, I had the most memorable experience. With the support of Revature and its mentors, we were able to create a web application. We learned a lot during the development process, and after we launched our project, our joy knew no bounds. The first project is always special.
When we talk about the culture at Revature, they have flexible timing, and the recordings are useful for revisiting topics if you miss a session due to an emergency or network outage. With the training and hands-on experience that Revature provides, my knowledge of full-stack technology jumped from 0 to 100. I have personally witnessed folks with no prior experience with technologies like Angular develop world-class projects in as little as 2-3 months.
Anyone interested in joining Revature should aim to gain practical experience in every topic covered during the training process and become more involved in project development and implementation. This will undoubtedly be beneficial. My mentor, Dr Vinay Ingalahalli, has been exceedingly patient and is committed to answering all questions. He explains the subject in such a way that you understand it instantly. He was one of the most inspiring teachers I have ever had, and I am quite grateful for his efforts, because of which we have gained a great deal of knowledge.
